SKIL 3980 is a powerful 20V cordless planer suitable for professional and home use thanks to its exceptional performance. SKIL 3980 belongs to the SKIL brushless XP tool collection. Like all other SKIL 20V cordless tools, this model is powered by industry-leading, advanced PWRCORE 20™ battery and charger technology. With its 2 mm planing depth and 82 mm planing width, the carbon brushless SKIL 3980 is ideally suited for planing surfaces, beveling edges and making grooves. A brushless motor is faster and stronger and lasts ten times longer than an equivalent brushed motor. The machine's ergonomic design and padded handle, as well as the large depth setting knob, which also serves as an additional handle on the front end, guarantee optimal comfort of use and control of the tool. The high-quality TCT blades can be turned, so the service life is doubled. When one side of the blade is worn, you can simply turn it over and continue working. You can conveniently adjust the chip removal either to the left or to the right according to the working conditions. To achieve a cleaner working environment, you can attach a dust bag or a standard size vacuum cleaner to both sides of the electric planer. The handy foot ensures that you don't accidentally damage the workpiece if you want to place the tool on a surface or when putting it away after work. SKIL 3980 FA is delivered in a carrying case. the line is packed with two reversible TCT blades, a dust bag, a dust adapter, a directional guide and a lip depth regulator. Battery and charger are not included.

In professional use, power tools have a 1-year warranty and batteries have a 6-month warranty. SKIL products do not need to be registered.
