The universal “20V Max” 3540 cordless saw is part of the SKIL range of compact and brushless tools. These tools are very compact and offer the optimal combination of high performance, excellent durability and unrivalled comfort. Like all other SKIL “20V Max” cordless tools, this model is powered by the industry-leading and advanced “PWRCORE 20™” battery and charger technology. The universal brushless SKIL 3540 cordless saw is a compact alternative to circular saws. This lightweight, one-handed saw is a very handy tool for sawing panels and flooring. Thanks to the multi-purpose blades supplied with the device, this tool is suitable for sawing a wide range of materials, including wood, laminate, plastic, aluminium and ceramic tiles. Despite its very compact size, the SKIL 3540 has a maximum cutting depth of up to 41 mm. The digital brushless motor is more powerful and efficient than ever before and offers a ten times longer service life compared to a brushless motor. Good visibility of the work area is guaranteed thanks to the LED light that illuminates the saw line and the blower function that keeps the saw line clean. Other handy features include an electric brake for increased working comfort and a soft start that gradually increases the speed. Dust-protected bearings protect the saw from dust, extending the saw's lifespan. The SKIL 3540 CA comes standard with a carbide-tipped saw blade, a hardened steel saw blade, a diamond cutting disc, a vacuum cleaner adapter and a directional guide for easy straight sawing. The battery and charger are not included.
